Alpine, Mutt with Junkyard out front and Duke

The Dreadnoks!     Zartan, Buzzer, Ripper, Torch
For some more Joes we have Law and Order, Crazylegs, Wetsuit, and Spirt

The Mighty Serpentor! On his flying Chariot

The Cobra Menace!

Darkon, Voltar, Dr. Mindbender

Destro, Cobra Commander, Major Bludd

Really enjoyed painting up all these guys. Brings back quite the nostalgia feeling. Now onto more of them!

Lizardmen for Bloodbowl

Blood bowl Lizardmen
 All of them lined up
A bit closer up on half of them. Second attempt on painting eyes. I have yet to actually try on a smaller human figure

Extra tokens that come with each team. Not sure what these would be worth.

Repaint of one of my First Miniatures ever

I have always been fascinated by miniatures. The dioramas people create and of course the figures. I finally picked up my first paint brush and miniature in 1993-94 I think? Might have been 95. Not having any idea what I was doing and none of my friends interested I just started slathering on random paints I found at the hobby town USA where it all started. Now they don't even sell Minis last time I went in there.
Over the years I stopped painting and lost all my stuff. To this day I have no idea what happened to the tackle box I had everything in. This however was the one Mini I remember the most from those days. I fell in love with the shield. However it was a love hate relationship. I painstakingly tried to paint the interwoven parts on the shield. I remember messing up and repainting that damn shield at least 50 times.
So when I found this guy on eBay I bought him immediately. So I could enjoy some nostalgia while painting him up. The shield this time took me no time at all. I am also baffled at how it took me so long to paint the thing years back. It does represent at least to me my intro into the hobby and all the memories and fun I have had since.

Another set of Figs from this Years Analogue Challenge

For some more figures painted up for this years Paint challenge
We have a famous captain who only needs one eye to be a badass

First time I have attempted actually painting an "eye" usually just do a wash and leave it. Couldn't do that on this model. I think it turned out great. Might be because its such a big eye though lol

I have been painting on this group off and on all through the challenge. Finally all finished up! So here we have these Natives from Firelock games.

 All of them grouped up
Decided not to do any shade on the feathers. Left them very bright.

Thought about basing them differently from the other blood and plunder guys I have. Ended up just going with the same base as the rest of the guys I have.

the "leaders" from what I can tell.

See you on the beach

Some D-Day tanks and landing craft. At somepoint I will put on a big D-day battle with all my Flames of war stuff. I am not sure if I have enough of these minis to make it look epic enough yet.

I enjoyed painting these and probably the quickest things I have painted in a while as far as from when I started to when they were completed
Think the commanders that came with the tanks look more like Brits than the US Commanders. Guess they could be either though. I haven't put any decals on them yet for this reason and not sure if I am going to. May just leave them how they are.
Do I need more? More than likely I do...

Now onto the landing craft.

I already had 3 boats painted previously, However I never did paint the infantry for them. Since I was painting these other 3 boats and infantry. Just painted them all together to knock them out.

Always torn on whether I should base tanks on bases or not. So far I have not, and leave them as is for the tabletop. I think I will always question myself on this anytime I paint any vehicle smaller than 28mm

Epic 30k 3D prints

I had planned on several tanks and speeders to paint up. However as I was printing these on my printer, the print turned out rubbish and was only able to salvage these two. In fact my resin printer is now down for the count till I can either get replacement parts or order a new one.

So without further talk of printers dying on me. Below are a couple models for my "soon to be" army of Emperors Children for 30k.

Speeder bike came out great imo. Was also very easy to print.

The tank here I had some issues with on the back treads on the print. However no one checks out of the back of the tank! Its all about the guns!

As of now I'm keeping the tanks off bases. See how that works out. Thats how I have all my FOW tanks done. However the smaller scale may be better based. Kinda torn on this.

Boats and canoes

Finally got the blood and plunder boats and Canoes painted up.

Not sure if I am going to do sails on the two boats or not. They didn't have much "sails" to them from what I found online. Also putting these together I realized I was missing pieces to the sail/mast set. Firelock games are going to send these to me free of charge!

The canoes I tried some free hand on. I don't have much experience free hand painting. Does show on these as well. Kinda works though since they would be hand painted on by the natives.

I think the suns and rays came out alright. The upside down triangles though not so much. This was due to thinking I could paint them without slowing down as much as I should have.

Blood Bowl Star Players

Some more figures that got held up and not posted to the blog for some reason. Below are star players you can get from Games workshop website. Not the forgeworld ones.

Painted the Ogre same scheme as I did my Human Team. Was going for a Chicago Bears scheme.

Didnt turn out as great as I wanted him to. Still enjoyed painting him though
Troll I kept kinda similar to the Orc team i painted up.

Martians and pirates

Some figures I painted a while back that got held in "draft state" for almost a year!
Picked these guys up for $5 from Miniature market back on a sale. Got some from original kickstarter a while back. They are ok models I wouldnt pay more than $5 for them though
A little close up on them. I did different color scheme on these guys than my older ones. I think I like the other scheme better but its nice to have squads painted differently for the tabletop.

Last group of my English figures. Captain included
 Close up of the captain.
Enjoyed painting these guys. Now starting on the French ones I have to paint.

Few things painted up

Another Christmas Gift I painted up. Was a bit late due to unforeseen circumstances in December. Keeping me from finishing

This is a mixture of several brands. Badger games, Mantic and a 3D printed base
Mariachi Band is from Badger games.
The barrels came from a Terrain Crate from Mantic. Had got in on the kick starter and never used any of it yet. The base I 3D printed myself. The file is from Printable scenery.
This is the first model I have painted that I made with my resin printer. Not a big fan of his shirt, but wasn't going to spend anymore time on him.
He does have some big hands though!

Now that I finally got an entry in the painting challenge. Its fully underway for me. Hopefully I can paint up the 500 points I pledged.
